Matt Shinners

Matt Shinners has a diverse work experience, primarily in the education and political sectors. Matt currently serves as the Chief Strategy & Operating Officer for Forward Party, having previously held roles such as Interim CEO and Co-CEO. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Executive Director at Forward Party. Before joining Forward Party, they worked as a Senior Consultant at an unspecified company from 2020 to 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Chief of Staff for Friends of Andrew Yang. Matt also worked as an Associate Director of Pre-Law Programs at Kaplan Test Prep from 2017 to 2018 and as the Senior Manager of Product Strategy at Manhattan Prep from 2014 to 2017. Their earlier experience includes serving as the Vice President at Blueprint Test Prep from 2010 to 2014.

Matt Shinners received their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Boston College in 2006. Matt then went on to attend Harvard Law School and earned a Doctor of Law - JD degree from 2006 to 2009.
