Todd Welch

Todd Welch has over 20 years of work experience in the field of ASIC verification engineering. Todd started their career as an intern at Seagate Technology in 2001 and then joined ForwardEdge ASIC in 2023 as a Principal Verification Engineer. At Seagate Technology, Todd worked as a Senior Staff ASIC Verification Engineer, where they were responsible for leading the verification process for SSD and HDD SOCs. Todd organized verification plans, reviewed coverage metrics, and developed Perl scripts to streamline regression runs. Todd's experience showcases their expertise in verification planning and execution, as well as their ability to utilize automation tools effectively.

Todd Welch received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University in 2002. Todd later pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, which they completed in 2007.
