Michael Minnig

Michael Minnig is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Foss Maritime Company since March 2023. Previous roles include Antarctic Research Vessel Project Engineer at Leidos, Vice President & Senior Principal at Hockema Group, and Director of Engineering at Foss Maritime Company from 2012 to 2018. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Naval Architect at the Washington State Department of Transportation and project management at Guido Perla and Associates, Inc. Michael's technical expertise was further developed at Elliott Bay Design Group and Ingalls Shipbuilding. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus and a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Virginia Tech.
