Dave Bortz

Dave Bortz is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in technology and cybersecurity. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at FOSSA since January 2022, Dave previously held the position of EVP, Engineering at Finite State, where the focus was on cybersecurity solutions for connected devices and embedded systems. Prior roles include VP of Engineering at Kenna Security, and Co-Founder and CTO at Data Everywhere. Additional experience encompasses leadership positions at Centro, Backstop Solutions Group, Enova International, Amazon.com, Orbitz, and Board Of Trade Clearing Corporation. Dave Bortz earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
