Dirk Ebner

Dirk Ebner has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Dirk is currently working as the Global IT Director - End User Services at Fossil Group, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for driving change in disruptive market conditions and managing a team of Fossil Service Delivery Managers across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Before joining Fossil Group, Dirk worked at Novartis for eight years. Their most recent role at Novartis was as a Service Delivery Manager / Solution Delivery Manager in the Enterprise Content Management Center of Excellence Organization. Dirk managed the planning, design, build, and deployment of global Records Management & Archiving related IT solutions.

Prior to that, Dirk worked as a Service Manager at Novartis, where they built and ran a global Application Archiving IT Service for applications at the end of their lifecycle. Dirk successfully archived and retired over 160 applications within the first year of operations.

Dirk has also held positions as the Head M-Class & LOC Governance at Novartis, where they established a global IT governance structure for manufacturing sites and managed global onsite support services, and as the DC Capacity Manager, where they led the Data Center Capacity and Floorspace Team and implemented a capacity management model using a market leading DCIM tool.

Earlier in their career, Dirk worked as a Senior IT Consultant / Lead IAM at LC Systems, a System Engineer at Dettwiler Informatik, and a Computer Technician at Resin GmbH & Co. KG.

Dirk Ebner completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik / Computer Sciences at AKAD from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including Root Compass Leadership Development Training, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, Leadership development program, PMI Project Management Professional, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
