Larry Acquarulo has extensive work experience in the polymer and medical device industries. Larry began their career as a Sales/Marketing professional at LNP Engineering Plastics in 1985, where they worked until 1989. In 1986, Larry joined ICI/LNP Engineering Plastics as a Marketing Specialist and worked there until 1989. In 1989, they became the CEO of Foster Corporation, a prominent company specializing in polymer blends for medical applications. Larry held this position until at least the present time. In 2009, they also served as Co-CEO of PolyMedex Discovery Group, a company involved in the development and manufacturing of biomedical polymers and catheter extrusions. This role lasted until the end of 2010. Prior to their time at ICI/LNP and Foster Corporation, Larry was an R&D Engineer at Cytec, where they worked on the development of various products for EMI shielding, Static Dissipation, Lightning Strike Protection, and high strength composites. Larry Acquarulo began their educational journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which they completed between 1977 and 1981. Larry then pursued a Master of Science degree in Materials Science from the University of Connecticut from 1981 to 1984. Later, Larry continued their studies at Kennedy Western University, where they obtained a PhD in Engineering Management from 1996 to 2002. Finally, they attended The Wharton School from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Business Strategy called the CPD. In addition to their formal education, Larry Acquarulo holds a certification as an ASQ Quality Improvement Associate from ASQ, although specific details about the certification's completion date are not provided.
