Chia-wen Kitty Wu

Chia-wen Kitty Wu's work experience includes serving as the Vice President, Head of Business Development and Strategy, Innovative Medicine at Fosun Pharma USA Inc. since April 2022. In this role, they lead a team of BD professionals, executes transactions, and develops pipeline strategies and commercial operations. Previously, they worked at Genentech from 2011 to 2022, holding positions such as Senior Director in Neuroscience & Rare Diseases Area Strategy and Pipeline. Chia-wen Kitty provided strategic guidance, developed business recommendations, and led various subteams. Before that, they worked at Shanghai Roche Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Strategic Planning and Commercial Excellence and held roles in Life Science Venture and Business Development Consulting and Burrill & Company. Chia-wen Kitty also had a NRSA Postdoc Fellow position at the University of Pennsylvania.

Chia-wen Kitty Wu has a Bachelor's degree from National Taiwan University, where they pursued a dual-degree in Psychology and Zoology. Chia-wen Kitty later went on to earn a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester. Chia-wen Kitty Wu also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on neuroscience and pharmacology.
