Stan Lechpammer, MD, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the medical affairs and oncology field. Stan currently holds a position as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Fosun Pharma USA Inc., where they manage the planning and development of resources and strategies to support the organization's Innovative Medicine Group. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at ImmunityBio, Inc., leading the Medical Affairs Leadership Team and supporting the development of their leading compound N-803. Stan has also worked at GSK as the Global Medical Lead, Synthetic Lethality, where they were responsible for leading the niraparib program in Women's Oncology. Stan has held senior leadership positions at Pfizer as the Senior Director of US Medical Lead for Xtandi and at Medivation as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs Oncology. Other notable experiences include serving as the Executive Director of Medical Affairs Oncology Lead at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, the Senior Medical Director and Head of US Medical Affairs Oncology at EMD Serono, and the Medical Director of Global Medical Affairs Oncology at Genzyme. Prior to that, they worked at Onyx Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Medical Director and at Amgen as a Senior Medical Science Liaison in Oncology. Stan has extensive experience in leading product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing global strategies in the oncology field.
Stan Lechpammer, MD, Ph.D. began their education in 1985 at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1991. Stan then pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1992 to 1993, specializing in the Department of Biological Regulation. From 1993 to 1999, they attended the University Hospital Center "Sestre Milosrdnice", Zagreb, Croatia, completing a Nuclear Medicine Residency Program and achieving Board Certification. Continuing their academic journey, Stan obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu between 2001 and 2004. Lastly, they pursued a Postdoctoral/Clinical Research Fellow position at Harvard Medical School specializing in Radiation Oncology/Nuclear Medicine from 2000 to 2005.
