Jared Munch

Jared Munch, EIT, serves as a Project Engineer at The Foth Companies since October 2023, previously holding the position of Marine/Coastal Engineer at AMI Consulting Engineers from November 2019 to October 2023. As the Owner and Instructor at SUPerior Paddle Academy since January 2014, Jared delivers motivational speaking services focusing on self-empowerment and mental well-being. Notably, Jared completed solo stand-up paddle expeditions, including the first-ever paddle around Lake Superior and a journey from Duluth to the Arctic Ocean, raising funds for local youth services. Jared volunteers at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, teaches adaptive athletes, and has held various ambassador roles in organizations such as C4 Waterman and Infinity Surf. Educationally, Jared earned a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Previous roles include Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the university and a Summer Hydraulics Intern at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
