Sergio Rosenbaum

Sergio Rosenbaum has extensive experience in project development and renewable energy. Sergio worked as the Head of Development South America and Project Development - Latam at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) from 2019 to the present. Their responsibilities included leading a multidisciplinary team in developing utility-scale renewable energy projects and originating new business opportunities in South America, including solar, wind, energy storage, and green hydrogen. Sergio successfully built a pipeline of 3GW worth of projects and achieved nearly 1GW in environmental permitting.

Prior to FRV, Rosenbaum worked at BESALCO SA from 2013 to 2022, where they held the positions of Jefe de desarrollo and Jefe de Desarrollo Energía Renovable. In these roles, they were responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities in the energy sector, managing project development processes, and overseeing engineering and financing aspects. Sergio was involved in various activities such as M&A, due diligence, joint ventures, permits acquisition, and contract negotiations.

Additionally, Rosenbaum gained hands-on experience as Jefe de Terreno at Echeverria, Izquierdo, Ing. y Const. S.A. in 2012, where they were responsible for on-site management. Sergio also worked as a Professor of Introduction to Engineering at Colegios Dunalastair in 2011.
