Sofia Gonçalves

Sofia Gonçalves is a seasoned professional in project development and innovation within the renewable energy sector, currently working at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) as a Project Development specialist focusing on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK and Europe. Prior experience includes roles at UK Power Networks as an Innovation Project Lead and Innovation Engineer, where Sofia spearheaded projects on heat decarbonization and consumer vulnerability. During a tenure at EIT InnoEnergy, Sofia managed Smart Grid and Energy Storage projects, conducted technical and market due diligence, and developed strategic investment roadmaps.
