Donovan Theodore Jordaan

Donovan Theodore Jordaan's work experience includes positions at various companies. In 2007, they served as a Departmental Officer at Stellenbosch University until 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Media and Training Officer at Space4Development (S4D). Additionally, in 2013, they briefly held the role of Lecturer (adhoc) at Stellenbosch University. Jordaan then assumed the role of Developer and Junior Product Manager at Space4Development (S4D) in 2015, where they were responsible for the development of reporting scripts and a MEAN stack reporting backend. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Delivery Engineer at JourneyApps and later transitioned to the role of Solutions Engineer from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they became the Solutions Team Lead at JourneyApps until 2021. Lastly, in 2021, they served as a Platform Engineer at JourneyApps before joining Founda in 2022 as a Backend Engineer.

Donovan Theodore Jordaan's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Paul Roos Gymnasium and obtained a Senior Certificate in an unspecified field of study. Donovan Theodore then proceeded to Stellenbosch University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Language and Culture from 2004 to 2006. Following this, they completed two consecutive BA Honours degrees in Classical Literature at Stellenbosch University in 2007. In 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Classical Literature at the same institution. Finally, from 2011 to 2016, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Classical Literature from Stellenbosch University. In addition to their formal education, Donovan obtained a certification in Systems Acquisition Management from INCOSE in July 2015.
