Laticia Aossey, MSW, currently serves as the AMP Program Operations Manager and AMP Statewide Program Coordinator at YSS since August 2022, and as a Cedar Rapids AMP Facilitator with Foundation 2 Crisis Services. Laticia facilitates community meetings for youth in foster care, focusing on resource connection and life skills education. Experience includes roles as an Aftercare Fellow with Future Leaders in Action, a member of the National Young Adult Transition Advisory Group, and contributions to various initiatives aimed at improving youth outreach and support. Laticia's prior positions include Behavior Specialist at Families First Counseling Services of Iowa and FosterClub LEx Leader, alongside educational achievements that include a Master's degree in Social Work from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa.

Our services include a 24-hour crisis phone line, chat and text support, a youth shelter, independent living support for young adults, family counseling, support groups and Mobile Crisis Outreach.
