Dave Armstrong

Dave manages Foundation Capital’s day-to-day operations and investor relations. As the firm’s General Counsel, he provides legal advice to the Foundation Capital team and support to the firm’s portfolio companies.

Dave has a BS in Finance from Virginia Tech and a JD from the George Mason University School of Law.

Dave came to Foundation Capital in 2009 from the law firm of Gunderson Dettmer. He also worked in finance in San Francisco prior to attending law school and is admitted to practice in California. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and three children.
