Amy Laster

Amy Laster has extensive experience in the field of scientific research and program management, currently serving as the Interim Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Science Strategy and Awards at the Foundation Fighting Blindness since August 2008. In previous roles at the Foundation, Laster has led the preclinical research portfolio and managed various grants and award programs. Additionally, Laster holds a board member position at the Health Research Alliance since January 2020. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience obtained from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, following a bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
