D. Scott Walker is an experienced environmental and occupational health and safety professional. D. Scott started their career in 2008 as a Sr. Specialist in Environmental Health and Safety at Johnson & Johnson Vision, where they demonstrated a passion for environmental stewardship and social aid. In this role, they managed global responsibilities including regulatory compliance, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability development.

In 2017, Walker joined the Foundation Fighting Blindness as the Vice President of Corporate Relations. D. D. Scott Walker, CEO, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety from California State University, Northridge, which they obtained from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Los Angeles Valley College from 1980 to 1982. In 1978, they graduated from Los Angeles Baptist High, where they studied Environmental Science. Throughout their career, they have also acquired various certifications such as CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross in 2021, and RCRA Hazardous Waste Management for Generators from Eduwhere in 2020, among others. In 2015, they received the Certified Emergency Operations Professional (CEOP) certification from the American Council for Accredited Certification.
