Daren Abbiehl

Daren Abbiehl has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daren started their career in 1997 at Verizon as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst before moving on to become a Consultant at Compuware in 1999. During their time at Compuware, they attended their Personal Development Program and gained experience in coding in a COBOL mainframe environment.

In 1999, Daren returned to Verizon and continued working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst until 2002. Daren then joined Ciber Global as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst Consultant, where they provided test support for multiple projects and worked as a test project lead in an IBM Mainframe environment.

In 2003, Daren took on the role of Software Analyst at Ashley Furniture Industries, where they evaluated and implemented the Test phase into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Later that year, they joined Randstad Technologies US as a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst, where they tested software requirements in a Unix based environment and executed UNIX based scripts.

In 2006, Daren returned to Verizon and held various positions over the years. Daren started as a System Business Analyst, where they produced project documents and implemented projects for key initiatives. Daren then became a Senior Business Analyst, leading a team and directing the corporate program to replace legacy systems. Daren also served as a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, leading high-value projects to achieve operational excellence and reduce process variation. Daren'slast role at Verizon was as a Marketing Product Development Manager, where they developed and executed product and customer experience strategies.

Most recently, Daren joined Foundation Finance Company LLC in 2019. Daren started as a Process Improvement Manager before being promoted to the Director of Business Analytics & Continuous Improvement.

Daren Abbiehl obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Studies, from Mt. Senario College. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Verizon, including a Six Sigma Black Belt in Design DMADV in October 2014, a Verizon Project Management certification in May 2014, and a Six Sigma Black Belt in DMAIC in July 2013.
