Kelly Knee

Kelly Knee is a seasoned expert in translational research and drug discovery, currently serving as the Senior Director of Translational Research at the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics since January 2025. Prior to this role, Kelly held the position of Senior Director of Neuroscience Translation and Drug Discovery at Atalanta Therapeutics from June 2023 to January 2025. With over a decade at Pfizer, Kelly advanced from Senior Scientist to Director of Translational Medicine in the Rare Disease Research Unit, leading drug discovery projects and serving as a subject matter expert in rare hematological diseases. Earlier experience includes a strategic consultant role at Global Blood Therapeutics focused on blood-based disease targets. Kelly earned a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Wesleyan University and a B.A. in Molecular Biology from Alfred University.
