Kaitlin Jackson-Ferriot, Ed.D. has a diverse background in education and student services. Kaitlin currently serves as the Associate Director of the California Medicine Scholars Program at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. In this role, they work to provide resources, educational programs, and training to support underrepresented students in pursuing their academic goals and launching careers in healthcare. Prior to this, Kaitlin was the Director of Student Services at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, where they were responsible for supporting and advising students. Kaitlin also worked as a Career Advisor at the same institution, providing guidance to students and promoting social justice and health equity for underserved populations. Kaitlin's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Employment Specialist at Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. where they assisted students in finding employment opportunities in the healthcare industry. Kaitlin Jackson-Ferriot, Ed.D. completed their Bachelor's degree in Selling and Sales Management at Purdue University from 2006 to 2011. Kaitlin then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Drexel University between 2014 and 2016. In addition, they earned a Certificate in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Colorado State University from 2014 to 2015. Kaitlin's educational journey culminated in their Doctor of Education - EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from California State University, Long Beach, which they completed from 2017 to 2020.
