Msidt Kathryn Mary Davis

Kathryn Mary Davis, MSIDT, has extensive work experience in instructional design and education technology. Kathryn Mary currently works at the Foundation for California Community Colleges as a Senior Instructional Designer, responsible for designing instructional materials. Prior to this role, they worked as an Instructional Designer at the same organization.

In 2019, Kathryn also worked as an Instructional Designer at Foothill College, where they designed instructional materials. From 2014 to 2019, they served as an Education Technology Administrator (Instructional Designer) at Bauman College. In this role, they designed and refreshed online courses, facilitated tutorials, and administered systems for education-related content.

Kathryn's earlier work experience includes roles at Ascend Learning, where they served as a Systems Manager (Course Developer), Executive Assistant, Program Lead, and Program Assistant. Kathryn Mary Davis, MSIDT, completed their Master of Science degree in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University, Fullerton from 2016 to 2018. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of General Studies with an emphasis in Education from Southern New Hampshire University from 2014 to 2015. In 1996 to 2000, Kathryn undertook extensive coursework in Fine Art and Design at Cornish College of the Arts. Alongside their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including Accessibility Training from Instructure, Certified Course Creator MOODLE from Moodle, Certified Kung Fu Black Belt CANVAS from Canvas Networks, and Instructional DESIGNER Learning Path and Instructional DEVELOPER Learning Path from Lynda.com. Kathryn Mary has also completed Instructional Design Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from California State University, Fullerton.
