Bradley Bowman has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to defense, foreign affairs, and national security. Bradley is currently the Senior Director of the Center on Military and Political Power at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Bradley is also an Adjunct Professor at the Center for Security Studies at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.
In the past, Bradley has served as a National Security Advisor for Senator Todd Young and Senator Kelly Ayotte in the United States Senate, where they provided expert advice on foreign affairs and defense. Bradley has also worked as a Special Assistant and Strategic Advisor for Task Force 2010/CJIATF Shafafiyat in U.S. Forces Afghanistan/ISAF, where they played a key role in preventing funding from reaching insurgents and other malicious actors.
Earlier in their career, Bradley served as a Congressional Affairs Officer at the U.S. Army G-3/5/7, where they managed Congressional relations and provided strategic analysis on legislative and policy developments. Bradley was also involved with the Council on Foreign Relations and served as an Assistant Professor/Instructor in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy.
Prior to their career outside the military, Bradley served as an Army Aviation Officer, commanding units in the 25th Infantry Division and the 12th Aviation Battalion. Bradley is a qualified helicopter pilot and has experience flying various military aircraft.
Throughout their career, Bradley has demonstrated expertise in defense, national security, and foreign affairs, with a focus on policy analysis, legislative affairs, and strategic advisory roles.
Bradley Bowman pursued their education at different institutions and achieved notable degrees. In 1991, they enrolled at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they specialized in American Politics. Bradley successfully completed their Bachelor of Science degree in 1995. Later, beginning in 2002, Bowman attended Yale University, where they focused on International Relations. After two years of dedicated studies, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in 2004.
