Dmitriy Shapiro is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and analysis. Currently serving as a Research Analyst/Editor at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies since December 2022, Dmitriy previously worked as a DC Correspondent for JNS.org from April 2021 to December 2022. Notable roles include Staff Writer at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, where coverage of northeast Lenawee County and political reporting earned recognition in the Michigan Press Association contest. Dmitriy also held positions as a Political Reporter for Mid-Atlantic Media publications and worked for various media outlets including Voice of Russia American Edition, AL.com, The Algemeiner Journal, and Chabad.org.
