Claire (Chiara) Cuccio, PhD, currently serves as Manager of Community Engagement & Special Events at the Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FIUTS) since November 2022, with previous roles including Manager of Development & Special Events and Development Associate. Claire is also an Intercultural Arts Facilitator and Co-Collaborator at WoodPaperHand since September 2014, where custom curricula are developed for well-being through art and cultural integration for youth. As an educator, Claire has taught at various institutions including Kobe City University of Foreign Studies, Shree Mangal Dvip Himalayan School, and Western Academy of Beijing. Claire has published writings in multiple journals and held the position of Curator at C-NA Gallery. Educational credentials include a PhD in Japanese Literature and an MA in English Literature from Stanford University, as well as additional degrees in Japanese Language & Comparative Literature from Washington University in St. Louis. Claire is currently participating in the Global Leadership Forum as part of the Senior-Level Leader Cohort 20 from October 2023 to April 2024.
