Maryn Gordon is a seasoned professional in program management and community engagement within the Jewish nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Program Manager for Community Care at the Foundation for Jewish Camp since October 2022, Maryn previously worked as an Alumni and Development Associate at Camp Ramah in California, where notable accomplishments included developing alumni engagement strategies and managing advisory boards. Maryn also has experience as a Social Work Intern specializing in inclusion at Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles and provided psychosocial support as a Clinical Services Intern at Green Dot Charter Schools. Earlier roles include Assistant Camp Director at Congregation Beth Israel and Clinical Interventionist at the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center. Maryn holds master's degrees in Jewish Nonprofit Management and Social Work from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion-Los Angeles and the University of Southern California, respectively, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona.

Jewish camp has proven to be a highly effective vehicle for Jewish engagement of children, teens, young adults and families. Founded in 1998, Foundation for Jewish Camp is a catalyst for change throughout the field of Jewish Camp, training and inspiring camp leaders, expanding access to Jewish summers—and increasing demand. Foundation for Jewish Camp enhances the Jewish impact of those summers and develops programs to strengthen camps across the Jewish spectrum— including its signature One Happy Camper® program, which has enabled tens of thousands of young people to experience Jewish summers for the first time. Foundation for Jewish Camp works with 250 day and overnight camps, serving approximately 200,000 youth, teens and college-aged counselors across North America.
