Ramon Mellado

Ramon Mellado is the Founder and President of ELECTRA, a multimillion-dollar international company providing information management services in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic since 1996. As Treasurer of the Foundation for Puerto Rico since its inception in 2011, Ramon Mellado contributes to social and economic development initiatives. Previously, Ramon Mellado served as the Director of the Penal Facilities Rehabilitation Program at the Federal District Court from 1997 to 2001, overseeing a $350 million construction initiative. Prior to that role, Ramon Mellado was the Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Privatization Task Force, managing significant privatization projects for the government. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and various executive programs and post-graduate studies.
