Alexander Fine

Alexander Fine is a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology Analytics at Foundation Medicine, a position held since June 2019, where analytical validation studies for new products and biomarkers are led as part of the Platform Biostatistics team. Previously, Alexander served as a Senior Scientist and Scientist II in Computational Discovery at Foundation Medicine, focusing on the development of computational product features and new assays, particularly in liquid monitoring. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at The Jackson Laboratory, emphasizing the integration of genomic data for predictive modeling, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Alexander holds a PhD in Genetics from Tufts University School of Medicine and a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A high school diploma was obtained from the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at WPI.
