Andrea Marengi

Andrea Marengi is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Foundation Medicine since November 2019, Andrea previously held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Sanofi, where responsibilities included advising on transactional and alliance management within the oncology and rare disease therapeutic areas. Before that, experience as a Corporate Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP involved representing clients in licensing, collaboration, and complex manufacturing agreements. Andrea began a career in management consulting at Braun Consulting, supporting pharmaceutical clients with commercialization strategies, and further contributed to cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center as a Clinical Research Fellow. Academically, Andrea holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and an A.B. in Literature from Harvard University.
