Andrej Savol

Andrej Savol currently serves as the Director of Computational Biology at Foundation Medicine, a position held since October 2017, after progressing through roles including Senior Scientist and Computational Biologist. Prior experience includes serving as a Bioinformatics Specialist I at Massachusetts General Hospital from September 2015 to September 2017 and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from April 2015 to August 2015. Academic qualifications include dual PhDs in Computational Biology from both the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, earned between 2008 and 2015, and a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics and Music from the University of Pittsburgh, completed from 2002 to 2007, along with a year at Mannes College of Music in 2007-2008.
