Dominique Schutz

Dominique Schutz has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and strategy roles. Dominique began their career in 2002 as a Financial Analyst at sanofi-aventis, where they worked in corporate finance and treasury. Dominique then joined Millipore Corporation in 2005, first as a Senior Financial Analyst and later as the Manager Finance for European Commercial Operations Controlling. In 2009, they moved to Merck Millipore as the Senior Manager Finance, responsible for global commercial finance and M&A integration.

In 2012, Schutz joined MilliporeSigma as the Director Finance, taking on roles as the Head of Business Unit Controlling for Lab Solutions and Head of Global Financial Planning & Analysis. Dominique managed various financial aspects and provided strategic financial information to support decision-making and planning at the division level.

Dominique continued to progress in their career, subsequently joining EMD Serono, Inc. in 2014 as the Senior Director Finance - Biopharma Strategy, Global Franchise and Business Development. Here, they were the CFO for franchises and worked closely with the EVP and Chief Strategy Officer to ensure strategic and operational alignment across the organization.

From 2018 to 2019, Schutz served as the VP - Head of CEO Office and Strategy Realization at the Healthcare Business of Merck, acting as the thought partner to the CEO and driving global cross-functional initiatives.

Following that, in 2019, they returned to EMD Serono, Inc. as a VP, first leading the Immuno-Oncology Strategic Alliance and later serving as the VP - Global Alliance Management. In these roles, they led teams responsible for optimizing partnerships and alliances, ensuring strategic alignment, and minimizing risk.

Currently, Schutz is working at Foundation Medicine, starting in 2022 as the VP - Financial Planning & Analysis before transitioning to the role of SVP Finance in 2023.

From 1999 to 2002, Dominique Schutz attended SKEMA Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance & International Business.
