Ed Schernau

Ed Schernau is a Senior Cloud Engineer at Foundation Medicine since August 2023, previously serving as a Senior Platform Engineer at BlueVoyant from December 2019 to August 2023, where integration of client IT Security assets played a significant role. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Citizens Bank, Principal Systems Engineer at SevOne, and System Admin Consultant at Dell/Secureworks. Ed has also contributed to enterprise monitoring as Principal Architect at RBS Citizens Group and has a strong foundation in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Heriot-Watt University. An outdoor enthusiast, Ed completed significant hiking challenges on the Pacific Crest Trail and Vermont Long Trail, demonstrating a commitment to both professional and personal pursuits.
