Erik Olson

Erik Olson is a seasoned professional in business development and alliance management, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Business Development at Foundation Medicine since July 2019. In this role, Erik focuses on maximizing partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to ensure mutual long-term gains. Previous positions at Foundation Medicine include Director and Head of Strategic Operations and Director of BioPharma Alliance Management, where Erik led various initiatives in clinical trial management and strategic alliances. Before joining Foundation Medicine, Erik held the role of Sr. Director of Business Development at Biodesix, Inc. and various leadership positions at Ventana Medical Systems. Erik holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from Kent State University.
