Kara Deltufo

Kara DelTufo has an extensive work experience in the legal field. Kara currently serves as the Senior Director, Associate General Counsel at Foundation Medicine since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Acceleron Pharma as the Senior Director, Employment Counsel, where they provided employment advice and counsel to a biopharmaceutical company. Kara has also held the position of Associate General Counsel at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for almost a decade, where they advised and defended the medical center on labor and employment matters. Before that, they worked as an Employment Law Attorney at Hirsch Roberts Weinstein LLP and Sullivan Weinstein & McQuay, P.C. Kara began their legal career as an Associate at Holland & Knight LLP.

Kara DelTufo earned a J.D. degree from Boston College Law School between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at New York University from 1995 to 1999, receiving a B.A. in English and American Literature.
