Lauren Ritterhouse

Vp, Pathology And Diagnostic Medicine, Laboratory Director at Foundation Medicine

Lauren Ritterhouse began their work experience as a Sir Alexander Fleming Scholar at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in 2002. Lauren then progressed to become a Graduate Research Assistant at the same institution from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Brigham and Women's Hospital as an Anatomic Pathology Resident, where they stayed until 2015. Following this, Lauren became a Clinical Fellow in Molecular Genetic Pathology at Harvard Medical School from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they transitioned to the University of Chicago Medicine as the Co Director of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory and Clinical Genomics Laboratory. After two years, they moved on to Massachusetts General Hospital, where they worked as the Associate Director of the Center for Integrated Diagnostics from 2019 to 2023. Lastly, in 2023, Lauren Ritterhouse took up the position of Senior Laboratory Director at Foundation Medicine.

Lauren Ritterhouse obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where they studied from 2006 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Sciences, Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma from 2002 to 2006.
