Merrida Childress

Merrida Childress, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in the field of clinical development and genomics, currently serving as Associate Director of Clinical Development at Foundation Medicine since March 2021. Merrida has extensive experience leading collaborative clinical studies, developing Clinical Development Plans, and presenting research findings to diverse stakeholders. Prior roles include Clinical Genomics Scientist in Medical Affairs, where Merrida provided clinical genomics expertise and developed educational materials for healthcare professionals. Between January 2019 and March 2021, Merrida was a Clinical Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, facilitating collaborations and managing biospecimen studies.
