Edward Beacon has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Edward began their career in 1975 as a Certified Flight Instructor and Charter Pilot, before moving on to work as an Aviation Department Manager and Chief Pilot for various corporations. From 1982 to 1999, they held roles as an Aviation Department Manager, Chief Pilot, and Corporate Pilot for several U.S. corporations.
In 1999, they joined Gemini Air Cargo as the MD-11 Fleet Manager, MD-11 Managing Check Airman, and MD-11 & DC-10 Captain, responsible for overseeing the airline's flight standards program and training events for 200 crew members. From 2008 to 2011, Edward worked for Southern Air Inc. as a B-747 Crewmember and later joined Kalitta Air as a B747-400 International Reserve Captain from 2011 to 2012.
In 2012, they became the Chief Pilot & Director of Flight Standards at PEOPLExpress Airlines until 2014 when they joined Remington Products Company as the Aviation Department Manager and Chief Pilot.
Edward also served on the Board of Directors for Corsair Applications, Inc. from 2009 to 2012, where they provided consultation and auditing services to various U.S. FAR 121 Air Carriers, Airports, and Corporate Flight Operations.
