Wes started Foundations IT with a vision of delivering technology solutions to retailers in a unique and better way. After years or watching the same vendors fail projects repeatedly at multiple retailers, Wes recognized there was a market niche for successfully delivering complex retail technology projects. Moreover, that his own cross functional expertise in retail, law, and technology was a unique asset in building teams that could deliver these types of projects better than existing consulting companies.

From it’s founding in 2016 through today with many large retail clients, the Foundations IT team has constantly and rapidly delivered critical technology projects for retailers. Whether it’s custom crafted business intelligence systems, digital stores, technology strategy, M&A support, organizational leadership, or expense optimization; the team from FIT is standing alongside today’s most forward retailers to get it done.

In 2021, the FIT team launched the Concise Retail commerce platform. For startup and small retailers, Concise Retail provides a fast, secure, and simple cloud ERP platform offering all the basic features necessary to create and operate a retail business. For medium and large retailers, Concise Retail offers a robust API to integrate high performance microservices into their existing application portfolio to handle inventory, orders, promotions, customers, and other retail centric business functions.
