Noemi R. Pena

Noemi R. Pena has over 14 years of experience in program management, operations, and marketing. In 2021, they joined Founders First Capital Partners as the Director of Program Delivery. Prior to this, they were the Assistant Director of Operations at the Brink SBDC @ University of San Diego from 2018 to 2021. During this time, they oversaw general operations and administration of the program and lead marketing and social media campaigns. Noemi R. also supported the creative development and design of assets and coordinated the San Diego Angel Conference. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Specialist at the City of Chula Vista. Prior to this, they worked at the San Diego Blood Bank from 2007 to 2017. During this time, they provided leadership over comprehensive organizational rebranding for both SDBB and Southern California Blood Bank and deployed messaging across all audiences in print and new media platforms. Noemi R. also developed, designed, and produced program collateral and other marketing assets, promotional giveaways, and special events. Noemi R. also managed the daily operations of the volunteer program, supporting community relations divisions.

Noemi R. Pena holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the University of Oregon, a Certificate in Not-for-Profit Management from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from UC Irvine.
