Tomas Turner

Tomas Turner is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cultivated Biosciences, where the focus is on creating animal-free dairy alternatives to appeal to a broader audience. As a Pledger with Founders Pledge, Tomas commits 30% of personal proceeds to effective charities, participating in a community dedicated to addressing global challenges. Previous experiences include an R&D internship at Planted, contributing to the development of sustainable food alternatives, and an internship at the Erich Schmid Institute of Material Science, where Tomas improved the properties of Bulk Metallic Glasses. Early involvement with the European Youth Parliament included roles in food and beverage management and media relations. Tomas holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from EPFL, along with additional studies in Material Science and Biochemistry from the University of Geneva and a Bachelor's degree from RWTH Aachen University.
