Carolyn Groobey

Carolyn Groobey serves as a Board Member and Programming Chair for the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors since June 2022. Currently, Carolyn holds the position of Lead Independent Director on the Board of Directors at VHB since April 2019 and is a member of the Board of Directors at Everywhere Communications since November 2018. As an Investor and Advisor at FounderTrac since January 2018, Carolyn mentors and invests in high-potential early-stage companies. Additionally, Carolyn leads Technology Sourcing and Screening at New World Angels since June 2021 and has been Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee at Chesapeake Bay Foundation since January 2007. Carolyn’s prior experience includes senior roles at PayPal, Bill Me Later, Fannie Mae, and McKinsey & Company. Carolyn holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.
