Doug Crescenzi has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Doug began their career in 2008 as a Senior Information Security Engineer/Scientist at MITRE. In 2011, they became a PhD student at Syracuse University, where they drafted research proposals for Information Systems' Proseminar and Research Methods. In 2012, they were a Developer Evangelist at TelAPI and a Graduate Assistant/Mentor at Syracuse Student Sandbox. In 2013, they became a Founding Partner of Hack Upstate and Co-founder & CEO of Lono LLC. Doug was also a Products Manager/Entrepreneur in Residence at Rain. In 2016, they became a Founding Partner (Acquired) of Upstate Interactive. Most recently, in 2022, they became VP, Software Engineering at Foundry, a Digital Currency Group Company.
Doug Crescenzi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University in 2006. Doug then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Information Security Management, Telecommunications and Network Management from Syracuse University in 2008.
