Software Architect at Foundry Digital

Rjae Easton has a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. They began their professional journey at Amicore in 2005, where they served as a Lead Developer. From there, they transitioned to EMC, also as a Lead Developer, from October 2005 to December 2006. Following this, Rjae joined IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. as a Lead Developer and remained with the company for over a decade, from December 2006 to February 2018. During this time, they also held the role of Lead Developer at MyBridge, where they created a commerce platform for on-demand service provision.

In 2018, Rjae joined Verizon Wireless as an Architect, contributing to the creation of microservices for a 5G multicast streaming network. They also designed the web and mobile UI for managing network subscriptions and developed an AWS cloud native architecture.

Next, Rjae joined ACV Auctions in 2019 as a Dotnet Developer. They played a key role in the creation of a microservice architecture for migrating from monolithic services. Additionally, they developed frameworks for controllers, listeners, dispatchers, transactional messaging, sagas, and implemented services such as the configuration service, feature flag service, identity service, and gateway services.

In 2022, Rjae worked as a Software Architect at kangorooTime, where they contributed to the creation of event validation via JSON Schema and developed idempotent consumer patterns and testing frameworks. They then moved to Verivend as a Project Lead Developer, transforming notification features to an event-driven architecture, creating a feature flags framework, and migrating custom logging.

Currently, Rjae is employed at Foundry, a Digital Currency Group Company, as a Software Architect. In this role, they have created a scaling solution for high-volume Bitcoin mining and developed a migration plan from an existing vertical-scaling-only architecture to a modern horizontal scaling architecture.

Rjae Easton has pursued a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hunter College. The specific start and end years of their education are not provided.
