Guillaume Gales

Principal Research Engineer at Foundry

Guillaume Gales has a strong academic and research background with experience in various roles. Guillaume started their career as an Allocataire de Recherche at IRIT in 2007 and worked there until 2011. In 2007, they also took on the role of Moniteur CIES at the University of Toulouse, where they stayed until 2010. Guillaume then transitioned to the role of ATER at the University of Toulouse from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Guillaume worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at NUIM. Guillaume then moved to Maynooth University in 2013 and worked as an Assistant Lecturer until 2016. In 2018, they joined Trinity College Dublin as a Visiting Research Assistant. Currently, Guillaume works at Foundry, where they started as a Research Engineer in 2016, then moved on to become a Senior Research Engineer in 2019, and currently holds the position of Principal Research Engineer.

Guillaume Gales completed their education in a chronological order. Guillaume began by obtaining a Licence in Computer Science from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in the years 2002 to 2005. This was followed by an M1 degree in Computer Science from McMaster University in 2005 to 2006. Guillaume then returned to Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III to pursue an M2R in Computer Vision from 2006 to 2007. Finally, they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III from 2007 to 2011.
