Jose L. Marin

Jose L. Marin serves as a Visual Effects Supervisor and Lead Compositor at Tower33 VFX since August 2025. With extensive involvement in the Visual Effects Society, Jose holds multiple leadership roles, including Chief Advisor and Board Chairman Emeritus of the New York Board of Managers, having been elected to four consecutive terms from 2021 to 2025. Additional contributions include co-founding and co-hosting Live@5!!!, leading the East Coast Judges Panel for the VES Awards from 2021 to 2025, and chairing the VES New York Education and Outreach Committee. Jose's experience spans various prominent companies in the visual effects domain, including Foundry, Mass FX Media, and Framestore, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of California - San Diego and certifications in Nuke training.
