Deryl Seale

Deryl Seale has a extensive work experience in the K-12 educational technology industry. Deryl started their career with Project Achieve in 1999 as the Chief Application Architect. Deryl later joined Z-Tel Communications as a Lead Engineer and played a key role in designing and implementing web services for partner integration.

In 2003, Deryl joined Classroom Connect as an Application Architect, where they led the development of a web-based learning management system and oversaw technical due diligence for an acquisition. Deryl then joined Edusoft as a Lead Engineer in 2005 and successfully transitioned the development process to an agile methodology.

Deryl co-founded Intel-Assess in 2006 and served as the Chief Technology Officer, contributing to its growth into a multi-million dollar business. When Intel-Assess was acquired by Amplify Education in 2012, Deryl took on the role of Executive Director of Engineering and successfully integrated the teams and processes.

In 2016, Deryl co-founded Fluence Learning as the Chief Technology Officer and developed new business strategies within the education technology market. The company was acquired by Insight Venture Partners and became part of the Illuminate Education technology portfolio.

Deryl's work at Illuminate Education started in 2017, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer of Content. Deryl oversaw all content-related technology and played a crucial role in bringing data and insights into the K-12 education system.

In 2020, Deryl co-founded Eebu Health and served as the Chief Technology Officer until 2022, when they joined FOUNT Global, Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer.

Throughout their career, Deryl has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the K-12 education technology sector.

Deryl Seale has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from The Kinkaid School.
