Brett van Staden has a strong background in finance and accounting. Brett began their career as a Trainee Accountant at EY in 1997 and worked there until 1999. Brett then moved on to become an Audit Manager at EY from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they joined Hulett Aluminium as a Financial Manager from 2003 to 2008. Currently, they are serving as the Financial Director at Fountain Civil Engineering (Pty) Ltd. since 2008.
Brett van Staden completed their high school education at Northwood Boys High from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance at UNISA from 1994 to 1997, obtaining a BCompt (Hons) degree. Later, in 2000, they enrolled in SAICA to pursue a CA (SA) degree specializing in Accounting, which is currently ongoing.
