Christy McGee Apr

Christy McGee, APR has extensive work experience in communications and public relations. Christy started their career as an Advertising Intern at Specialty Sports Venture in 2001. Christy then worked as an Office Manager at Barnhart Communications from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Mesa County School District 51 as a Communications Specialist and later became the Public Information Officer from 2012 to 2014. Christy then joined the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency as the Public Relations and Social Media Manager from 2014 to 2015. Currently, since 2015, they are the Director of Communications at Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8, where they provide strategic-level communications advice and counsel to the district and school leadership.

Christy McGee, APR completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Sociology from Regis University from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Englewood High School from 1994 to 1998.
