Kathleen Andruch

Kathleen Andruch has extensive experience in public health research and data analysis. Kathleen is currently working as the Associate Director of Network Research at Fountain House, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Public Health Research Manager at Fountain House from July 2021 to July 2022, and as the Public Health Research Coordinator from February 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Fountain House, Kathleen worked as a City Research Scientist I at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from September 2018 to December 2019. Kathleen also gained experience as a Researcher in Epidemiology at the State Hygienic Laboratory from January 2017 to August 2017.

Additionally, Kathleen has experience in data analysis, having worked as a Data Analyst at the Cedar Rapids Community School District from October 2016 to March 2017. Kathleen also worked as an Emergency Room Assistant at Genesis Health System from March 2014 to June 2015.

Furthermore, Kathleen has engaged in research and grant projects, serving as a Grants and Special Projects Researcher at Children's Health Specialty Clinic (CHSC) from September 2015 to August 2016. Kathleen was responsible for researching ACEs, HPV, ASD, and 1st Five for grants and contracts obtained through UIHC's Child Health Specialty Clinics. Kathleen also designed the Iowa American Academy of Pediatrics website during this time.

Kathleen's earlier experiences include job shadowing at Athleticare in November 2013 and participating in a medical service learning trip through Nicaragua with Medical Praxis in July 2013.

Kathleen Andruch completed their education with a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Augustana College from 2011 to 2015, although the specific degree and field of study were not mentioned. Kathleen first began their academic journey at Lincoln Land Community College from 2008 to 2011. Kathleen Andruch also received their High School Degree from Taylorville High School, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
