Abaasi Walugembe

Abaasi Walugembe is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community development and humanitarian initiatives. As the Founder and Volunteer Community Development Practitioner at CIOC Humanitarian Initiative since April 2018, Abaasi aims to enhance self-reliance and improve the socio-economic well-being of individuals. In addition, involvement with Fight Cancer Global since May 2019 focuses on addressing gaps in cancer care through collaborative frameworks. Previous roles include hospitality positions at Four Seasons Hotels and Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, and volunteer roles promoting sustainable development and community engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic. Education includes certifications in various health and safety disciplines, as well as a diploma in anatomy and physiology from Alison, and ongoing studies in Pediatric Advanced Life Support at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
