Rowena Carter

Rowena Carter is a seasoned professional in human resources and people development, currently serving as the Regional Director of People & Culture at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts since April 2016. Previous roles include Director at InMotion HR Consulting, HR L&D Consultant at The Lancemore Group, and HR & Training Consultant at Ovolo Hotels. Notably, Rowena established the HR & Training department at 8Hotels in 2010, achieving recognition as HR Associate of the Year at the HM Awards 2012 for initiatives in employee engagement and training. Earlier career experience includes positions as Learning & Development Manager at Firmdale Hotels PLC and Training Manager/HR Officer at Sopwell House Country Club & Spa. Rowena holds a CIPD qualification in HR and Training from Barnfield College and a BA (Hons) in Commercial Music from the University of Westminster.
