Michael Barnett

Michael Barnett, MD, MS, FACP, FAAP, FAAHPM, currently serves as a Staff Physician at Four Seasons since May 2023. Prior to this role, Michael Barnett was an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from July 2012 to March 2023, where also held the position of Assistant Professor. Michael Barnett's earlier experience includes serving as an Instructor in Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completing a Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship at UPMC. Michael Barnett was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics and completed internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Educational qualifications include an MD from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, an MS in Medical Education from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in Engineering Science from the University of Virginia, School of Engineering & Applied Science.
